While at home, the design team sought new ways to create an escape from the daily reality and collaborated with 3D Artist Wouter Gysemans to create “Spring-Summer 2021, a Visual Diary”, a 180° short film inspired by Plato's Allegory of the Cave and the concept of the Multiverse.ĭirected by Paula Canovas del Vas, the film poetically explores and recognises the notion that the universe may only be a small shell within a larger universe. The few months created an unusual design process where the team developed a collection outside of the studio for the first time, using digital renders and building mockups using the available materials : fabrics, cardboard and paper.
